Police: Abilene woman hit husband with car

An Abilene woman is accused of hitting her husband with her car.

Krystal Elizabeth Davis, 36, is charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. Her bond was set at $25,000.

According to the arrest report, Davis called 911 around 3:15 a.m. Sunday to report her husband had suffered a severe head injury.

He was lying in the road in the 2000 block of Grand Street.

Police said Davis "initially lied about what happened to her husband" and later confessed to hitting him with her car as he attempted to choke her from the outside.

Anthony Davis is listed in critical condition at Hendrick Medical Center.
