Study: Dallas Cowboys named most popular sports team in America

A new study reveals that the Dallas Cowboys are in fact America’s team.

According to Odds comparison experts, Sports-Betting-NY, the Cowboys were the most Google searched team in seven states, making them the most popular team in America.

Without much surprise, Texas is the state with the most Cowboys searches averaging 2.24 million every month. The Atlanta Braves followed the Cowboys in the rankings, having three states where the team was the most searched.

Sports-Betting-NY also found that the NFL remains king in America. NFL teams were the most searched in 26 states across the country, making it the most popular major league in the nation.

The MLB followed the NFL on the list with 13 states and the NBA was ranked third with ten.
