ABILENE, Texas — An Abilene man wanted for a drive-by shooting in December is behind bars.
Abilene police arrested Caleb Eric Fears, 27, about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at a relative's house in the 600 block of Sycamore Street.
Fears is charged with aggravated assault.
His bond was set at $100,000.
Police say he fired multiple rounds at a home in the 1100 block of South 6th Street on Dec. 21.
A 13-year-old girl in the home was nearly hit by one of the bullets, according to police.
Police say Fears turned off his headlights and sped down the street.
The homeowners -- who were outside with a group of friends -- ran towards the car as Fears opened fire.
The Abilene Police Department's SWAT Team served a search warrant Thursday afternoon in the 1200 block of Minter Lane looking for Fears.
