Taylor County deputies looking for armed woman who ran from traffic stop

The Taylor County Sheriff's Office is looking for an armed suspect who they say ran from a traffic stop.

The suspect is 25-year-old Samantha Christine Dominguez.

Deputies say their narcotics team was conducting surveillance Monday afternoon on a house where they believe drugs are being sold.

Two women left the house in a stolen pickup.

Deputies stopped the vehicle in the 2000 block of S 18th Street -- between Sayles Blvd. and Vine Street. Dominguez -- who was was a passenger -- got out an ran. The driver, Natalie Bossier , was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bossier told deputies that Dominguez was armed.

The nearby Jefferson Center was put on "lockout" -- meaning no one was allowed inside the building -- according to Abilene ISD spokesman Phil Ashby.

A search of the area was conducted with the help of the Abilene Police Department and their K-9 unit. Once it was determined that Dominguez was no longer in the area, the lockout was lifted. School released on time at 3:40 p.m. according to Ashby.

Dominguez was wanted for state jail felony possession of marijuana. Other charges are now pending.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Dominguez, you are asked to call the Taylor County Sheriff's Office at 325-674-1300.

The sheriff's office said Dominguez looks slightly different than her most recent mugshot (above) as she now has dark blonde hair.
