Woman, juvenile, dead following murder-suicide in Abilene

ABILENE, Texas — Two people have died following a murder suicide in Abilene Wednesday morning.

According to a press release, police responded to a home in the 3100 blk. of South 6th Street to find two people, a woman and a juvenile, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police have identified the woman as 54-year-old Michelle McClure. She was transported to a local hospital with a self inflicted gunshot wound, where she was pronounced dead.

The second person, a juvenile male, was found dead on scene inside the home. Both lived in the same home.

The investigation is still ongoing.
