EMT accused of sending sexually explicit pictures to underage girl after treating her
LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) —
A 21-year-old emergency medical technician has been arrested after police said he sent sexually explicit pictures to an underage teenage girl, according to CNN affiliate WPXI.
Lawrence County District Attorney detectives said EMT Joshua Patterson sent the pictures to the teen after treating her for injuries from a traffic accident and then looking her up on social media right after his shift, WPXI reports.
Police told WPXI he used to work for Noga Ambulance.
The police paperwork detailed conversations the two had, in which Patterson admitted to knowing the girl was only 15, according to WPXI.
The complaint said when Patterson was questioned by police, he admitted he knew what he was doing was illegal.
