The Tulsa Police Department has released body footage from a homicide on Jan. 5, involving a 12-year-old stabbing her 9-year-old brother to death.

When police responded to the apartment complex for a stabbing call, EMSA and firefighters were already performing CPR on a 9-year-old boy with stab wounds, according to officials.

Police added the boy was taken to the hospital that night in critical condition and later died.

The mother told police she heard a scream and thought her son was having a nightmare, then came downstairs and found her son. Her 12-year-old daughter told her she had stabbed her brother.

Tulsa police and the district attorney's office will not be releasing any information at this time because she is a minor.
