CONCORD, NC (WKRC/WCCB/CNN Newsource) - An incredible teen in North Carolina is being recognized for her hard work and dedication -- to the tune of over $2 million!

Senior 18-year-old Aniya Richardson will graduate high school in the spring with a GPA of 4.2.

She has already been accepted to 28 different colleges and universities -- including Howard University.

Howard is a private, historically Black university. Alumni include Thurgood Marshall, Toni Morrison, and Kamala Harris.

Perhaps even more impressive, all of those schools have offered Richardson a total of $2.1 million in scholarships.

Richardson says she is still waiting to hear back from two more colleges before making a decision.

She says she wants to become a therapist to help cancer patients who are going through treatment alone.

Along with her academic achievements, Richardson is also a talented musician who has taught herself to play several instruments.
