City of San Angelo announces closures for Thanksgiving holiday

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The City of San Angelo has announced its closures for the Thanksgiving holidays.

The following will be closed on November 24th and 25th:

• San Angelo Animal Shelter
  
• Fairmount Cemetery’s business offices
  
• Fort Concho (open during normal weekend hours from 9am to 5pm Saturday, Nov. 26th, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27th)
  
• San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department
  
• McNease Convention Center
  
• Municipal Court
  
• San Angelo Nature Center
  
• Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers
  
• Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers
  
• water billing offices
  

The Women, Infants & Children (WIC) office will be closed on the 23rd, and 24th, and remain closed on Friday as usual. Anyone needing to renew or apply for WIC services may call 325-657-4396 or email wic@cosatx.us. Applications are also available online at texaswic.org.

Concho Valley PAWS will hold Thanksgiving hours from 12pm to 6pm Monday November 21st through Wednesday November 23rd. Offices will be closed Nov. 24th to the 26th, and normal hours will resume next week.

There will be no trash pickup and the landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. City offices will reopen on Monday, November 28th.

Taylor County Offices will also be closed on Thursday November 24th, and Friday November 25th. Offices will reopen November 28th.
