CBS 4 has confirmed that authorities are investigating after a body was found in sugar cane field in Mission.

Details are limited the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office said the body was found just after 2:45 p.m., west of Los Ebanos on Military Road.

Authorities said an autopsy has been ordered.
