FLATONIA, Texas – K9 Kolt does it again!

Last Friday afternoon in Fayette County, Sgt. Randy Thumann and K9 partner Kolt stopped a Mazda CX-9 on I-10 for a traffic violation. After asked a few questions, Sgt. Thumann knew something was up.

Kolt was given permission to do his thing -- and discovered each seat was constructed with after-market compartments used to conceal cocaine. Approximately 50 kilos of cocaine with an estimated street value of $5 million dollars was removed from the vehicle.

Francisco Rangel Rodriguez, 50, from Mexico was arrested for drug possession.
