With the Super Bowl being just a few weeks away, Micah Parsons announced he is gifting a trip to a deserving military member for an experience of a lifetime. Parsons shared on Twitter that he is teaming up with USAA to give a pair of Super Bowl tickets to Sergeant First Class Mark Watson from the Texas Army National Guard.

Mark Watson has dedicated his life to protecting and serving the United States. Watson’s military service record includes service in the U.S Army (1983-1987), Army Reserve (1987-1989) and the Texas Army National Guard (2007-present), where Watson holds the rank of Sergeant First Class. He currently resides in Abilene, TX with his wife Kimberly. Their daughters also chose to serve, with one daughter being an Army veteran, while the other is a Navy veteran. Mark and his wife are both Dallas Cowboys fans and are attending Super Bowl LVII together where they will meet their favorite player, Micah Parsons.

“From military to law enforcement, Sergeant First Class Mark Watson and his family have been protecting and serving our country for more than 30 years and counting,” said Micah Parsons. “Coming from a military family myself, it’s a great pleasure to team up with USAA and the Special Forces Association to recognize and thank a true hero and a Cowboys fan like him! I look forward to meeting Mark and his wife in Phoenix.”
