Local man found guilty of child sex crimes

ABILENE, Texas — A local man was found guilty of child sex crimes Wednesday.

According to court documents, Richard Brennan sexually assaulted three juveniles for multiple years between 1996 and 2003.

Other related charges are still pending. His sentencing is expected to take place in 60 days.

He is charged with four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and one count of indecency with a child and sexual contact.

He is currently being held in the Taylor County Jail on a multi-million dollar bond.
