Cisco focused on keeping success going

The Cisco Loboes are one of the most consistently successful teams in the Big Country with seven straight district titles.

Cisco hasn't lost a district game since 2010 either.

This year the Loboes' strength will be in the backfield with junior running back Stanley Callahn and quarterback Cooper Witt.

The defense is also stacked, as this group knows the keys to keeping that success going.

"For me it's getting up working hard every day.," said Callahn. "Then on the field, making sure no one gets down on my team."

"During the games, keeping our composure. Not breaking down with each other, not blaming each other when things go wrong," said linebacker Blake Burns. "If you can do that then you can make yourself a pretty good team."

Cisco opens the season on Friday, August 31 at home against Sweetwater.
