Evan Nemec

Evan Nemec is the current sports director at KTXS.

Evan has lived his entire life in Texas, going to high school in San Antonio, graduating from the University of North Texas and beginning his TV career in Abilene in 2016.

While at UNT, Evan worked as sports director of the campus radio station, was a studio host for the Mean Green Radio Network, worked as a reporter and anchor at the campus TV station, and also was a sideline reporter for three UNT football games on the American Sports Network.

During his last semester Evan interned at KTVT in Fort Worth and helped cover the Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars, Rangers, PGA and various high school and college teams.

He enjoys covering high school sports in the Big Country and the towns that support the young athletes.

Outside of the studio, you can find Evan listening to a podcast, watching a documentary or cheering on the Mean Green.
